Tacoma Consignment Return Policy

At Tacoma Consignment, we want you to love your purchase! However, due to the unique nature of consignment shopping, our return policy is limited. Please review the following details:

Store Credit Only
Returns are eligible for store credit only and must be made within 3 days of purchase or pickup. After 3 days, all sales are final.

Condition Requirements
Items must be returned in the same condition as purchased. Any signs of use, damage, or alterations may disqualify the item from being eligible for store credit.

Restocking Fee
A $20 restocking fee per item will be applied to all returns for store credit.

Non-Returnable Items
All "as-is," discounted, clearance, or final sale items are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or store credit.

Faulty Items
If an item is faulty, we’ll work with you to find a solution. However, returns may still be subject to the restocking fee. 

Online Orders
For items purchased online, the 3-day return policy begins after pickup or delivery. Contact us within 3 days to initiate a return for store credit. Pickup or return arrangements must be completed promptly.

Third-Party Financing
For purchases made with financing options such as Shop Pay or Affirm, exchanges are available only for items of equal or greater value.

Delivery Responsibility
Customers are responsible for arranging delivery to and from the store for any returns or exchanges.

Abandoned Items Policy (Including Verbal Extensions)

Tacoma Consignment may, at its discretion, allow extended storage or delayed pickup on a courtesy basis. Unless otherwise stated in writing, all such extensions are informal and do not alter the terms of this policy.

Items left in our store beyond the normal pickup or storage period, including any verbally agreed-upon extensions, will be considered abandoned property. Before taking any action, Tacoma Consignment will make reasonable efforts to contact you and provide notice of the overdue status and a final deadline for pickup.

If the item is not retrieved by the deadline stated in our notice, Tacoma Consignment reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

  • Resell, donate, or otherwise dispose of the item under Tacoma Consignment’s name, without further notice or compensation.

By leaving an item at our store, you agree that ownership and any proceeds from resale, after deducting reasonable costs, may revert to Tacoma Consignment.
