Terracotta Guardians

A warm, collected room built around the Cleveland terracotta chaise sectional, anchored by the Kardiel Woodrow ottoman in Urban Pebble and flanked by a BoConcept Veneto swivel chair and a red needlepoint mahogany armchair. Along the wall, a dark brown solid wood buffet with wrought iron accents holds a pair of vintage Japanese cast iron Shishi guardian lions, lit by a 1950s James Mont brass lamp, a woven bamboo fish trap lamp, and a green antique Burkes Marine ship light. Underfoot, a hand loomed rust, teal and beige wool and silk rug pairs with a vintage handwoven kilim runner, while a live edge round end table brings in raw grain. The walls carry a Pottery Barn pewter mirror, a signed and numbered Wyland Whale Waters limited edition, a Charles Frace red tailed hawk print, an antique automobile dimensional collage, a vintage blue framed silk watercolor, and a Gary Bukovnik flower print.
