Leather & Lacquer

A living room built on contrast: an Italian black leather chaise sofa and a vintage black and dark green leather tub chair, warmed by the honeyed amber of a mid-century drip glazed atomic lamp and the deep reddish wood of an Asian-style coffee table with a silk embroidered top. A solid wood school table with steel legs adds a working edge, and a West Elm Abrash rug in soot and taupe ties the whole room together underfoot.
