Title: Hummingbirds Artist: Rohner, John (American, 1923 – 2021) Medium: Cast Bronze Date: Not dated Dimensions: 18.5 inches high x 9 inches wide x 6 inches deep Signature: D. ROHNER is etched in the base of the work. Markings: A symbol and the edition, 2/10, is etched in the base of the work. Condition: Excellent, there is no apparent damage. Description: In this cast bronze sculpture, two hummingbirds perch on narrow branches. Both of their branches emerge from a single larger branch. Where the two branches meet, there is a small nest with two hummingbird beaks emerging. The larger branch is connected to the base of the sculpture. Provenance: This work was purchased by the client’s father, George Barnes II. The work was inherited by the client in 2006. No original receipts or paperwork was available.
